Two weeks ago I got a charming message from Scheepjes. Yes, that Dutch famous yarn brand! I had won 5 Scheepjes Bookazines, how amazing! I kept smiling the rest of the day, so happy that I finally won a giveaway. You don’t know how many times I entered giveaways on social media. But, this time I finally won. So today a short review of the books I received.

Because I received 5 bookazines, I will write a review per bookazine in the upcoming weeks. And of course, the items I created with the books. Today a short post with all the Bookazines in it. What are the books about and how many patterns can be found inside. So sit tight, here we go!

Omg, no really OMG I won! I couldn’t believe it when I opened my Instagram account and saw the message from Scheepjes in my inbox. I had never won something before, so I kept smiling for the rest of the day. So what did I win, I hear you wonder. Here we go:

Bookazine nr 13 Wadden

This is the thirteenth edition of the Scheepjes YARN Bookazine collection. In this issue the wonders of the Dutch Wadden Islands. The Wadden Islands are spread across the coastline of the Netherlands, Germany, and even Denmark.

When you think of France, you think of patisserie. Fresh, warm croissants, delicious, irresistible macarons, cream cakes and petit fours. To be enjoyed in your favorite bakery or café. The work of Master Pastry Chefs is about more than just baking, it’s about craft and achieving perfection. The beautiful designs in our 17th edition of YARN Bookazine are inspired by the theme of Pâtisserie, only our creations last longer. What is similar is the handwork required for them.

The four chapters are inspired by the different categories of patisserie: Les Gâteaux, Les Viennoiseries, Les Petits Fours and Les Desserts. This edition consists of 15 modern designs*.
